Start of exam session at ”Nicolae Testemitanu” University

The winter session for students from all study programs has started at Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova. The exams are held at the University Academic Evaluation Center based on the computer-assisted testing method, through the University Management Information System. 

On the first day of the exam, January 9, 2026, students from the faculties of Medicine No. 1, Dentistry and Medicine No. 2 took a test in several disciplines, including Clinical Anatomy and Human Anatomy, which comprised over 1400 topics. The exam consists of solving a test with items, the grade being displayed immediately on the screen after completing all the topics. 

Professors from the specialized department participated as supervisors. In this context, Professor Ilia Catereniuc, Head of the Department of Anatomy and Clinical Anatomy, stated that, in general, medical students had a responsible attitude and prepared intensely for exams, considering that they were evaluated by an electronic system and must be very focused and attentive to each subject.

Nicolae Jardan, second-year student, Faculty of Medicine No. 1, mentioned that the exam was difficult, but thanks to the knowledge accumulated during the year of study and the intensive review during the vacation, he managed to obtain a 9 grade. 

Valeria Antoci, a second-year student at the same faculty, said that this was the first exam of 2026, and the biggest challenge she and her colleagues had to overcome resided in the intense emotions on the eve of the test. The young student realizes that she needs to apply more effective stress management methods, because if you prepare throughout the year, you can't fail. 

Lina Zaporojeanu, a second-year student, also provided positive feedback, noting that the exam was quite accessible, and the graphic images in each topic helped students self-assess more easily.

The examination session takes place from January 9 to 23 this year. Students are tested in 3 rooms within the Academic Evaluation Center, equipped with cameras and a metal scanner at the entrance. These stages in the examination process ensure objectivity and transparency in the student evaluation process.
